Remember when it was the craziest suggestion imaginable that a condo/townhouse would sell for $1mil or more in Foster City? In 2017 there were 93 of them sell for that number or more! Here’s the rest of the story.

 

MOST EXPENSIVE CONDO/TOWNHOUSE:

224 Beach Park This 4 bedroom townhouse at Shell Cove sold for $1,600,000. Listed for $1,488,000. Nice waterfront.

 

HIGHEST PRICE PER SQUARE FOOT;

1020 Helm This 1530 sq ft Townhouse at Bayfront Court sold for $1,540,000, listed for $1,198,000. That’s $1006 per square foot. Last years number was $982.

 

LOWEST PRICED CONDO;

5106 Admiralty This 1 bedroom condo sold for $528,000. That’s down $2000 from the 2016 number.

 

LOWEST PRICE PER SQUARE FOOT:

720 Promontory Point #2209. Those of you that are familiar with this blog know just how thrilled I am with this project. This 2263 sq ft unit sold for $1,230,000. That’s $543 per square foot. Worse that 1 bedroom condos.

 

LONGEST ON THE MARKET:

720 Promontory Point #2209. Guess what…same project. This unit was on for 205 days. HOA dues of $1000 a month are a big reason.

 

GREATEST OVERBID:

809 Peary This 3 bedroom unit at Winston Square listed at $1,249,000 and close at $1,535,000. An overbid amount of $286,000!

 

GREATEST AMOUNT UNDER LIST PRICE:

700 Promontory Point #1207. This place sold $75,000 under asking. Started at $1,375,000 and closed at $1,300,000.
