Pompano Park

Posted by Jim Minkey on December 20th, 2008

It’s just a little park, but because we’ve got some good friends that live on this street and we’ve spent plenty of time over the years either picnicing or playing games here, I thought it was worth including. This park is only 0.56 acres and is located in the middle of the big circle that is Pompano. It’s actually a pretty good space for touch football. Here’s a map:

IMHO, this park is indicative of how Foster City has one of the highest per capita park acreages in the State of California. This park is smack dab in the middle of a Circle street, and is a huge selling point for why people would want to live in this neighborhood, let alone on this street. And just at the entrance to this Circle is Marlin Park, a beach front park with playground equipment, restroom, etc. The original design by T. Jack Foster included all these neighborhood parks.

    Happy Saturday everyone!

Yay for Pompano! Sometimes less is more. ;)
